Artist Statement

In my work I am interested in combining seemingly disparate concepts such as the sublime and the mundane, technological and biological, religious and secular to at once bring into question these distinctions while celebrating a new vision that embraces tensions and contradictions as an inescapable part of existence.

In my studio practice I use digital, paint and collage media.  I am interested in how these various methods of making can inform one another and allow each to transcend their traditional contexts.
