My recent work is proof that I’ve fallen in love with drawing all over again. I’m focused on a more simplistic, suggestive style; continuing to produce visual meditations inspired by organic forms I see in my everyday surroundings. I let mindfulness and intuition lead the way.
Artist Bio / CV
I live and work in my native town Chicago, maintaining a studio in the Pilsen neighborhood. I am currently an active participant of the Underscene, an exhibiting collective of area artists. I show work regularly at local venues and take part in open studios.
In 2000 I obtained a Bachelors of Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an emphasis in art education. From 2001 to 2003 I co-founded and directed gallery sixfourfive in Pilsen showing local emerging artists.
