Artist Statement
I am always observing, asking questions and taking notes in the form of drawing. I watch people, plants, and cities grow; relationships change, new shoots form, buildings come up and down. I study this growth and decay in my surroundings and imagine the stories, emotions and biological functions that drive these changes underneath and from the inside.

Each drawing, painting or cut-out is a question, sometimes personal and sometimes a broader reflection on civilization, culture and myth. My work is of my imagination, history and autobiography.
