I use intuition and creative zeal to discover forms and plumb my experiences, emotional, physical and aesthetic, which I recast as shape, line, and color From childhood I have experienced my most moving and intimate experiences as gesture, which always has been a vital component of my work. My work springs from nature, in as much as I experience it as a creature born of nature. I often use geometric forms, most often the circle, to allude to an ideal of physical and emotional perfection and a reference to order and equilibrium.
