Artist Statement
Within nature's light we see the lines that form us.

Artist Bio / CV

Gaetano LaRoche grew up by the water in a small town in Rhode Island. He received a BFA from the Cooper Union and is a recipient of a Pollock-Krasner grant. His work is in the collection of the Library of Congress and Columbia University.

Recent solo exhibitions include:  "Drawn to Nature" at the Gottesman Library of Columbia University and "Painting as an Art" at The Plymouth State University of New Hampshire.The Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette, LA exhibited more than twenty of his paintings and drawings in 2008.

Recent group exhibitions include "Jarrod Beck and Gaetano LaRoche" at Mimos Gallery in Saratoga Springs, NY and ("Inside) Joke" at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

His drawings have been published in the literary arts journal Lilies and Cannonballs Review.
