Carleen Sheehan creates open-ended narratives that depict particular moments of distilled chaos. Images sampled from a range of sources are synthesized into layered spaces that hum with ambient detail and embedded imagery. Sheehan focuses on the inter-connectedness of visual forms and processes across categories and disciplines, and on the descriptive qualities inherent to different levels of information.
