These two new series of drawings are a relaboration of themese that regularly occurs in my body of work: the horse and human body. They are intimate and simple.
Nature has been fascinating me since I was a child.
The human body keeps eluding me including my own.
Artist Bio / CV
Born in northern Italy and having lived in several European countries and India, I have settled in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States after receiving my Master of Fine Art degree from Edinburgh College of Art.
Since 2002 I have been exhibiting my work in Washington and California. In 2006 I was selected to participate in the EDGE Professional Development Program by Artist Trust. Recently I have been awarded the Artist Trust GAP grant, the Art Patch Healthy Funding Award and the Patron Award by the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. One of my large-scale drawings is now part of the Dee Roy and Mary M. Jones Memorial Art Collection.
I became a scuba diver in 2008. Since then the scuba diving magazine northwest Dive News has published several of my articles, photographs and drawings from my logbook.
