Artist Statement
The Foundation Concept
My Art work is greatly influenced by Graffiti, Calligraphy and animation as well as a myriad of other visual stimulus in and outside of Pop Culture. The concepts for the paintings derive from the impact that current events as well as historical events have on my views and opinions of the world and humanity.

“Search Rewind, Listen Hear it…”
“I sound through the day once more thinking outward visual effects cataloging souls to take to safe or not so safe places. All this is coded so that it goes unnoticed like Noah and the Ark…no one saw what was in plain sight…or no one cared. This is no story though this is the information left behind is coded so deeply that when read later no one will truly understand it…wait not the future now, now is fine. No one can understand it now. It is safe under the protection of one thousand tiny suns that even Google cannot crack. It is here that I begin to see the connection between us; all of us even those whom I do not care for and those who do not care for me…we all manage to be part of each other despite the fact that you don’t like pink. We can sense it…there is a taste in the air we breathe a weight to our movements through the now thick non-desert air. The infamous “They” are surely behind it; however “They” are me and we are I so there is no use but to continue to bring everything together and allow for some type of existence. Something is like the words of some amazing spirit that reach out through time to quietly say “The air is too heavy you cannot breathe under rain and doubt.” And with that fury we toss carbon copies of our lovers out the windows then realize once again we have lost ourselves along the way. So we listen to the radio closely reaching for every sound so that we can record in our experience. Then we lose it…hurry “Search Rewind Listen Hear it…” becomes our new self and together we listen close to the soundless information that is really telling us something meaningful…I have found a new cave to paint my message on.”
