My practice focuses on the studio as a lens through with which to investigate the relationship between artist and the public. I propose an investigation on the dynamics of authorship. I am very much interested in social awareness within art making as a means of generating discussions about the artistic practice.
Drawing as being used as a tool, a way of documenting thoughts in a serial way, formally they work as a cinematic time line, a testimony of a video or an audio piece. I work on projects, they are based on ideas—ideas are the primary object of my study, formally they appear through the use of a drawing series, an audio piece, a video piece, a performance or a photograph; they reflect the project’s concerns.
I seek to create an artistic practice with the artist’s work actively integrated into social life, looking for new ways of understanding the modes of production.
