Artist Statement
My artwork examines interpersonal relationships and geo-physical spaces.  The figures in my work are searching, often seeming to win and lose ground simultaneously.  They most often appear alone yet usually reference the activity of others beyond the frame of the image.  The spaces in my works are minimal, both voids and diminished landscapes, at once specific and unknowable.  My works present more questions than answers, offering strategically fragmented cultural critiques.
