Artist Statement

Pursuit of knowledge outside the realm of scientific understanding is defined as occult.  In this regard, I am a practitioner of occult study focusing on underground culture, events and thinking.  Often this means attempting to translate audible and physical experiences into visual ones, but with the same sensibilities as, say, a cheap album cover.  My interest is in exploring the middle ground between pop and subculture, seeing how the two intersect and collide, and engaging in dialogue with one while remaining rooted in the other.
