Artist Statement
The forms as I produce through drawings and in three dimension borrows shapes from my visual surrounding. This includes art from XX century artists such as Caro, Brancusi, Malevitch, Smith, Judd as well as architectural environments. Particulary overwhelming structures and forms found in the urban context or in some architecture mouvments influence my perception.

This process keep going by picking up ideas from differents fields (architecture, design, electronic...) I always use a big sheet of paper, I want to be physically involved with the drawing through size and time without caring about composition, I build the space like a construction game. Instead of functionalism which produces shapes coming from function, I use abstraction to eliminate its function and produce new shapes. From this decision volumes become hybrid shapes with metaphorical function
