Artist Statement

The core of my work stems from the exploration and understanding of art history, theory and very often philosophy. As an artist I am mostly interested in exploring the temporality of meaning within the cycles of our society and culture.   Our perception of these cycles change as they are reviewed by multiple generations, just as much as they do from one person to the immediate next.  It is very often a concomitant effect of the cycles we experience within our social and political fluctuations, which are attendant with our own personal growth as individuals.
